Across Town

Each of these photos was taken in a different part of Baltimore City. Growing up in Baltimore has not only shaped who I am as a person, but played a role in my visual comprehension of the world. I began to understand photography in Baltimore, and in turn, through photography gained a deeper understanding of Baltimore.

For this series I rediscovered the city in a new light, or I should say, a new film. Velvia film gave me a new perspective on an old muse. It brought something out of the city I hadn’t seen before.

These photos showcase moments all across the city, from Highlandtown to Greektown, to Station North.
